Bartholemew Fatima or commonly known to his friends as Bart, is leader of a group of sand pirates who ravage the desert in their sand cruiser, the Yggdrasil. He is rambunctious, hot headed, and an ill-tempered youth who, on more than one occasions, mistakenly targets his own friends in what seem to be friendly fire. Despite of those flaws, however, he is a good tactician and strategist.

Bart is the Crown Prince of the Fatima Dynasty, who escaped Aveh along with Sigurd and Maison, when the dynasty was overthrown by Shakhan and his supporters. Bart's eye patch isn't just for show, he lost his eye when trying to aid in the repairs of the Yggdrasil long before meeting Fei and Citan. Sigurd saved him, but also lost his other eye in the process. Bart's gear is Brigandier, which he personally excavated alongside with Heimdal. Bart customized Brigandier to have an eye patch over the left camera. While this can't provide any advantage in combat, this would show his vanity and pride to spite his weakness. Despite his brash attitude, Bart is a kind-hearted guy who has deep leadership talents, and has an eye to survival with honor and dignity. He also pilots the Omnigear Andvari, which was retrieved from Ft. Jasper after it was hidden there for centuries by his great ancestor, Roni Fatima.

Bart is not particularly fast, but some of his weapons can cause status ailments. His attack power is a little short to that of Fei's but he is still a useful player with his ability to reduce an enemy's accuracy. Like Fei, he also has the ability to use a counter spell and can even turn himself into bait. He also has Dominia's ability to imbue attacks with Ether elements.

Attacks

There are different combinations to Bart's attack. All attacks use whips but are performed in different styles depending on the button that is pressed. The following will show how each button affect Bart's attack:

Death Blows

Bart has 7 standard deathblows and 4 additional ether-imbued ones, which will be available later on. Bart's Angel grants him wings making him look like the male angel in Nisan's Cathedral. (See Deathblow table for more info.)

Ether

Bart uses Ether that uses EP. They are usually made of Ether effects and Support Ethers. One of his best Ether effects that usually comes in handy is the Wild Smile, it can reduce an enemy's accuracy. He only has one attack ether, the Heaven Cent, which unfortunately isn't that quiet powerful too. Bart has the ability to turn himself into bait, luring enemies to target him instead of his allies.
